Interview & first day at work...

Its been so long since i reali talk 'bout work..hee...

Nway, i just started in my current employment at Manpower...the enviroment is fanatastic...

Okok...i'll start from the interview...
There was this lady that called me the week before..her name...Sheena...she called and we had an on-the-phone interview... very nice lady... went thru quite a lot with me..mainly on her expectations on the job for me...

after which, i was invited down to their office for the 2nd round of interview...i met up with sheena( she is the Accounts Manager). So we have a short interview b4 another lady came in. she is the HR exco called Janie. Also another very nice lady. Both of them went thru a serise of Qns and Ans.

After all that, i was ask to come back at 6..at that time?? its was only like 330pm haha..so i just said"ok...heehee"

so i went back at 6 to meet the HR manager (Linda Teo)...quite fearsome lady on the first encounter. Even after the interview with her, i was not at ease but instead felt quite nervous..heehee...how can be?? eddie scare?? lolxx....
hahahah

The nxt day, Sheena called me up to offer an employment at the company. i was quite Surprise, glad and relieve at the same time...haha..it was like finally...haha...and guess wat??
Sheena is actually my boss to be..haha...she is reali a veri nice lady...den i went thru a 1.5 days of induction at the company... This time i met up wit Audrey, whom i will be working with in the same team. We were introduced to Adeline (HR Exco), she went thru the induction tell us the do's and dont's in the company, method to go about our daily work, and also introducing the people in the company with us.

First day in the team was quite scary as there were not much people to talk. They seems so busy with their daily job and all i didi was going thru the induction CD. So bored..... :P

The day went by like so dame slow and i left work at 645pm. went to meet up with adrian and had dinner, while sharing with him about the place i am working at.

After that it was home sweet home...

Reminiscing about...

Last week past by quite fast..i did many packing of my room, capboard, table and my personal cupboard...

Digged out many old stuff that were way back to my sec school days..hee...i saw pix of me in the band, where i was wearing the red blazer and gold collar, nicely accompanied by a Big RED Bow Tie...Look quite cute in it..hee..maybe i should snap a few pix of it and post it on my blog...i had few of those pix..but they were jus memorable..lolx....

Next were the pix that i took when i went Korea ( JeJu Island), together with SP concert band...Look so beng in those big ear rings/holes..hee...argggg...and the pix of our all time favorite Tour Guide for the tour/ Festival...Ms MeJin and Mr YongDuck...they were very gd ppl..
I remember getting them scolded for us, going over our time during a sight-seeing at one of their beautiful beach...( thinking back... =) ...)
And Yongduck even went to the extend of buying that Polo singlet for me when we were almost going back home to Singapore...so touched...but sadly, i lost contact with them after so many years of not sending emails to them( cos last time internet was like a very expensive instrument ), haix..."sob"..was wondering how are they now??? Miising them alot...

this was only in year 1 of Sp nia...haha..following that i saw all the MD concerts pix that i played in..not forgeting "I Believe In Music", also known as IBM concert in SP...

So many pix...haha...browsing thru them, i saw my pix in the very first formal concert for Sp band...still remember we played Carmina Burana( Think i spell it wrong), Blue Shades, River Dance, Gonzilla Eat Las Vegas with our garnd opening piece," Spring March"...=)

Ok set, i think i will take pix of it and post it on line..Sue, be prepared to see some pix of u kk...i wont mind if u ask ur friens to view my blog..heehee....

Then, guess wat?
i saw the most beautiful pix that i have even taken together with anoother gal..No prize for guessing it rite....Yes...WF...heehee...sweet little thing in the pix of yester-years....i thhink she was rite about somethings...things has changed so much for the both of us...i, who finished army as an officer ( which i think not many will feel that i'm one "gd " officer..but I was, I am and I will be a Gd officer for myself, my man and my company...

Never have i tod i will have so much pix of her...haha...3 album of it...and it comes in different sizes...it kept me thinking for a while..those sweet memories that i had...not forgetting those stupid ones that i had wit her...quiye surpriseingly, the only erson who has stand thru me, thick or thin, was none other than the gal i said to her years back," Even when the whole band thinks that you are wrong, as long as u think u r rite, i'll always stand on your side..."...
and yes, shen is none other than Sue Anne...my dear sis...hee...

Nway, school is starting soon( may 5) and i hope that i'll do well...and i noe i will do very well...haha...so far, my results are HD= High Distinction..(Pat on my back)
Never did i think that i will continue my studies after NS...hee...and worse of all getting my first distinctions in my entire life...(those who noe me will/ might noe my results for poly..=P )

Hee....i was so disgusted when i saw my transcript for my diploma...its like shit man...that is why i told myself i wana do v. well ..if not, well for my degree..so god bless me with all this Wisdonm to do well and health to do even better for my career and studies...

New beginning...

Recently jus sign up for UNI..hee...quite fun to study again man...lolx
things have never been the same like last time where i was only either working or spending time with my buddies...

Meeting less people now and jus my buddies only...hee...and not frgetting Sue...alwasy go loof or ahve a drink...Week after week, i'm always lookin forward to to going to sch..don noe why..i guess its the so-called" New toy syndrome"..lolx...

Jus bought a few books, namely "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" & " Failing Forward".
Started the Monk book ystd and loved it man...very enriching...i guess its 4 ticks outta 5...lolx..

My results for my POA in uni will be out today..hee..
don noe will i get HD anot..(HD= High Distintion)
haha....hope i get it man...i guess this is only the 3 or 4th Distintion i had since poly...haha...

So long din go tanning liao...how i miss the beach so much..getting white liao..haha...
don noe when can i go to the beach again...and with whom can i go with..haha....

Now, i only wana do well in my Uni aqnd my job well..the rest can take later..
I guess i'll pen off now....
